THRILLER 5:58 class of Butterfly LIFE, performed Michael Jackson’s Thriller on Oct. 29.
The event is known as ‘Thrill the World’ which is an annual worldwide simultaneous dance whereby dance troupes around the world will perform together at the same time to Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
This is the third consecutive year that Butterfly LIFE has participated in the dance. The performance took place in Sunnyland Square’s parking lot, Sunnyland, Bellingham, at 2 p.m. 45 dancers dressed up as zombies and took part in the performance.
They had been through five weeks of practice before and have been performing at Bellis Fair Mall on Oct. 28 and will perform again on Oct. 31 at Bellingham Public Market.
“It’s a lot of fun, keep my brain young and quite a workout,” Julie Straight said, 49, one of the dancers of ‘Thrill the World’.
